Answer:
No- this is not the way to lose weight, and is very dangerous and detrimental to your health. If you feel you are overweight, you need to change your diet and exercise. As your doctor knows your complete health history, he/she can recommend a diet and exercise plan that will work for you. A nutritionist can also be consulted.
are you crazy? where is the vanity coming from?? as a mother, the body changes come with the territory. on average, safe mother baby weight loss is 20 lbs over the child's first YEAR of life. if you are taking a laxative (MUCH LESS 16 of them) then you have a major eating disorder and need psychological help and god forbid this continues till when your child can see.the disorder will be passed down to them because their momma thinks a skinny body is more important than NOT destroying your internal organs.DON"T DO THIS ANYMORE!! you are killing your body! just exercise and eat less portions! i'm a mother of two and have to fight really hard, but am at the weight i was as a junior in high school, but i restrict my caloric intake to 1500 calories a day and work out 5 times a week. just do it!
Please see a doctor. You are seriously damaging your health and a flat tummy is just not worth that. Here are some of the health consequences you are facing:Upset of electrolyte and mineral balances. Sodium, potassium, magnesium, and phosphorus are electrolytes and minerals that are present in very specific amounts necessary for proper functioning of the nerves and muscles, including those of the colon and heart. Upsetting this delicate balance can cause improper functioning of these vital organs. YOU CAN DIE FROM ELECTROLYTE IMBALANCE.Severe dehydration may cause tremors, weakness, blurry vision, fainting, kidney damage, and, in extreme cases, death. Dehydration often requires medical treatment. YOU CAN ALSO DIE FROM DEHYDRATION.Laxative dependency occurs when the colon stops reacting to usual doses of laxatives so that larger and larger amounts of laxatives may be needed to produce bowel movements. Internal organ damage may result, including stretched or “lazy” colon, colon infection, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and, rarely, liver damage. Chronic laxative abuse may contribute to risk of colon cancer..and if you don't like not having a flat tummy you will probably also NOT like the consequences of colon cancer if you survive.
omg, thats the worst thing ever, you'll become more dependent on them then you are now. You'll probably loose some major body functions to. You're poisening your body. Just exersize drink lots of water and try to reduce the amount of food you eat and eat the right foods like lean meats, lots of fruits and vegitables, and only whole grains and you'll start looseing wieght in no time. Plus you'll loose wieght for the long run not just for a day or two.
Are you trying to commit suicide? People take laxatives to keep slim, most of them are aneroxic or belimic. You should talk to your doctor about this. He can help you, well he needs to help you before you are seriously ill.
Most laxatives are bowel irritants that cause food to move so quickly through your system that you often will not absorb enough of the nutrients in them. You can easily become dependent on laxatives---in other words, you won't be able to have a BM without them after awhile. Here's a quote for you: "The misuse of laxatives and enemas can cause serious, sometimes irreversible, sometimes fatal problems." Did you get that? FATAL. They flush needed minerals out of your body, cause dehydration, and remove the protective lining of your colon, leaving it open to infection. Do these things instead: Eat plenty of natural fiber, in the form of food. Eat a real breakfast, drink enough water, go for walks, and if you need to, see a doctor or therapist. Be there for your new child---laxative abuse can kill.
If you want to keep your health, your metabolism and your energy, don’t give into diet pills! For a more scientific explanation of why what you’re doing is going to hurt you in the long run, please please please consider watching this video, hopefully it will change your life for the better:

there is a side effect. most diet pills have the same action as a laxative. Laxatives promotes faster excretion of feces thus when the food eaten pass rapidly from the stomach to the small intestine and going to the large intestine, their is only minimal absorption taking place thus your body is still going to crave for food.
Excersize and good diet are the only way. Do NOT take that many diet pills of any kind. And also perhaps you could work on your self esteem and 'inside' rather thatn worrying so much about the outer self.Good luck, and enjoy your beautiful baby!
Obviously not. Practice a healthy diet, exercise, and lifestyle and you will lose weight successfully. If need be consult a personal trainer or a nutritionist.
