Can you actually lose 20 lbs. in 4 weeks?

Answer:
That answer cannot be answered percise because everyone is physically different. I'm not saying it isn't possible but if you do workout a lot and eat correctly. It possible you could lose that much weight.
For my experience, I worked out for 3 weeks with Winsor Pilates and lost 10-15 pounds. Winsor Pilates is a KILLER but definitely a excellent workout program. Good luck with the whatever workout you choose. =)
Yes. Strict Atkins. Only meat (protein)
oh look a flying pig
if you are sick ,but normally it is 1 to 3 pounds a week weight loss
YAR! Lar's can lose 20 lbs in 5 minutes..it's called a toilet...speaking of that, im gonna go shed some pounds.
My family and I have been using the best cleansing technology...:)the first time I did it, I lost 13 pounds in 9 days:). www. cleansewithcgnj. comIt will change your life:)
Yes you can. I did it using Phentermine and working out with Turbo Jam Exercise Videos. I look hot too.
Yea its called death learn to use it.
Anything is possible. I know someone who lost about 10lbs in a week so I guess you could.
Yes it most definitely is, I lost 180 pounds of ugly fat in just one day!! She did get the house, but I think it was worth it... I know it's an old joke... The best way to lose weight is to change you eating habits and possibly your life style to include a little more exercise. The miracle weight loss deals are mostly ways for the sellers of something to make money. If you lose weight too fast or starve yourself you will be messing with your bodies natural process and possibly end up storing more fat than before. Just eat good food.. (that would be any thing that doesn't come from a box, can or fast food restaurant. And of course the diet sodas as well as the sugared ones) Water is the only drink you should be drinking. Juices are just refined fruit, refined to a sugar liquid. Coffee and tea may be OK but I leave them alone too.
Yes, of course you can lose 20 lb in 4 weeks. Now it depends. If you want to just lose weight and and gain those 20lb again, this is the perfect way. If you would like to lose weight and keep it off, this is not a good approach. The realistic goal for weight loss is no more than 2lb per week. This way your body has a chance to adjust to the change. Also when you are losing weight slowly there is greater probability that you will not gain lost pounds quickly. Unfortunately, today people want everything fast and if possible without any hard work.

Can whole wheat make you fat?

Im dieting since like 5 weeks and sucessfully i had lost like 5 pounds. Now I'm looking foward to get toned by exercises. i was just reading and I didn't knew whole wheat can make you fat. Is this true? Cuz 3 times a week, i eat integral bread, juice, fruits, low fat cream cheese, food with a lot of fiber %26 whole wheat cereal with low fat milk. I eat this at least in the morning. I cook chicken only with water, little salt and pepper and lemon. i can have smashed potatoes with extra virgin oil and the cream cheese once in a while. I dont eat suger or soda or cakes.
Is this good?
My diet is based on fiber mostly. I love it.any suggestion will be welcome.
Answer:
You're not getting much protein, which builds muscles and burns fat. Add more vegetables and the rest is fine. Good luck.
Your diet sounds pretty good in a lot of ways, but you need more veggies. Whole wheat will only make you fat if you eat too much of it. Even lettuce will make you fat if you eat too much! It's the overall calories that count the most.
Losing weight is strictly a numbers game. Figure out how many calories you need to maintain your current weight (some Google searches should help). Then figure out how many calories you can eat to hit your target weight. If you exercise, you can eat more. Lifting weights is better than carido because the body uses calories even when you're not working out to break down and rebuild muscle. Cardio just burns the calories you exhaust during the workout itself.
ANYTHING CAN MAKE YOU FAT UNLESS IT HAS NO FAT AND NO SUGAR CARBS IN IT. YOU NEED TO CHEK THE LABELS. IT MAY BE LOW IN FATS, BUT MAY BE HIGH IN BAD CARBS..WHICH ARE SUGAR CARBS. BUT IT IS SO MINIMAL, YOU WOULDNT KNOW THE DIFFERENC IF YOU ECERCISE ANYHOW.AND YOU DONT NEED A HIGH FIBER DIET TO STAY TOMED. YOU NEED A COMBO OF PROTEIN, GOOD CARBS, AND EVEN FAT WITH A DECENT CALORIC INTAKE. WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS FINE AS FAR AS DIET. BUT MAKE SURE YOU EAT ENOUGH CALORIES WHILE YOU ARE TONING.
Whole wheat, just like everything else, can make you fat if you eat too much of it. Whole wheat is actually very good for you. It takes a long time for your body to break down the complex carbs that are in whole wheat. This helps keep you from getting hungry again.
Hey, Good Luck!
Your diet sounds good. You can add some vegetables but in my opinion potato isn't really good for diet. (Just my opinion)Don't believe everything you read in the papers. They can sometimes be wrong and they always change the facts for some reasons, you know. So, just stick with yours and keep exercising!
whole wheat isn't fatty its white, but u need wheat to balance veges fruit and grains and protein BALANCE

Can we prepare/get 0%fat curd?

Answer:
Yes, cottage cheese (if that's what you meant) is available in a 'fat free' version in the US, in practically any grocery. Probably more available than higher fat versions, lately. If by curd you meant any other kind of cheese, yes, almost any kind of cheese is available fat-free in the US, and cheese can be made from fat-free milk, if you are willing and able to make cheese yourself. I'd rather buy it, but that's me. Hope this helps!

Can we eat fruits in the morning in empty stomach?

bcz i ate grapes at office without taking any food in the morning.. my frnd said 'its too early to eat fruits" ... is it fair or not gud?
Answer:
yes, you can eat fruits in the morning, in fact it's very healthy. fruits and veggies are always healthy for a meal, don't worry.
I do it all the time. No problems.
yes you can eat fruit in the morning that is the dumbest thing i ever heard
You can eat fruit any time of the day. I don't know what your friend means by being too early in the morning to eat fruit. I have never heard that before.
Yes, you CAN eat fruits in the morning on an empty stomach - I've eaten LOTS of fruits in the morning without eating any other food and have been okay.
Honestly, your friend does not have a clue what he or she is saying. The best time to eat fruit is any time before 1 p.m. Fruit has carbs and sugars so it wont be a good idea to eat it late(note they are in a healthier form of sugar). Now as far as eating it on an empty stomach? Well think about it for a second. What is food? A twinky, donut or coffee in the morning? How about pancakes, sausage, toast filled with butter and sugar? How about french toast, waffles, sugary cereals. All these foods have SO MUCH fat, bad carbs, sugars, and loaded with calories. If your going to have anything that has sugar it should come from fruits. I always have a small bowel of fruit in the morning with almonds. Try it sweetie. Its very satisfying.
That's not true...While most asians deem fruits as being too 'cooling' to take in the morning, it is ok to have fruits in the morning and is healthier to do so. i have been eating fruits for breakfast for at least 3 years and am fine so far;)We should eat high water content fruits on an empty stomach early in the morning...The reason for taking fruits in the morning is that our body is busy detoxing during this time. This is why we wake with bad breadth, water to pee and motion to pass out. During this period of focused detox, it is best that the body take light foods to conserve energy so rather than using most of the energy to digest your bread or char bee hoon, the body can use it to detox properly. When you are detox properly, most things that shouldn't be in your body will be gone and you will feel lighter and become slimmer.Source: Fit For Life

Can Water Do This?

I'm starting up on drinking tons of water everyday. Does this help you lose weight even with my same diet?I'm still very young, but i'm worried about my weight, because I keep gaining more and more weight over a short period of time. (No I am not getting any taller, and I'm not growing)
Answer:
you shouldn't drink more than 8 glasses of water a day. But yes, drinking lots of water rather than sodas and tea will be great for your health. I was told once that you should drink half your weight in ounces and you'll lose weight, but be careful because you can drink too much water and drown yourself.um to someone below, yes you can drink too much water. Drinking too much water can lead to a condition known as water intoxication and to a related problem resulting from the dilution of sodium in the body, hyponatremia. When too much water enters the body's cells, the tissues swell with the excess fluid. Your cells maintain a specific concentration gradient, so excess water outside the cells (the serum) draws sodium from within the cells out into the serum in an attempt to re-establish the necessary concentration. As more water accumulates, the serum sodium concentration drops -- a condition known as hyponatremia. The other way cells try to regain the electrolyte balance is for water outside the cells to rush into the cells via osmosis. The movement of water across a semipermeable membrane from higher to lower concentration is called osmosis. Although electrolytes are more concentrated inside the cells than outside, the water outside the cells is 'more concentrated' or 'less dilute' since it contains fewer electrolytes. Both electrolytes and water move across the cell membrane in an effort to balance concentration. Theoretically, cells could swell to the point of bursting. From the cell's point of view, water intoxication produces the same effects as would result from drowning in fresh water. Electrolyte imbalance and tissue swelling can cause an irregular heartbeat, allow fluid to enter the lungs, and may cause fluttering eyelids. Swelling puts pressure on the brain and nerves, which can cause behaviors resembling alcohol intoxication. Swelling of brain tissues can cause seizures, coma and ultimately death unless water intake is restricted and a hypertonic saline (salt) solution is administered. If treatment is given before tissue swelling causes too much cellular damage, then a complete recovery can be expected within a few days.
it helped me i lost 10 hole pounds by drinking alot of water and walking alot and this was just in a week and a half
Drinking water is GREAT for you-as long as you dont overdo it. It hydrates your body to make it run the best it can and it also fills you up so instead of those cookies, you are taking in 0 calories. Just as long as you dont drink too much or you dont starve yourself on it. You need food energy to help you get around and without the food in your system, your metabolism will slow down.
water does help u lose weight and everybody encourages people to drink a lot of water because not only that it makes u lose weight but it make ur skin healthy and soft.
Of course water is good for you. And yes, it does help you loose weight because it flushes out all the waste in your body. If you're noticing dramatic changes in your weight then trying decreasing your calorie intake daily and see what happens. Go here: http://www.inch-aweigh.com/dcn.php... and see how many calories you need a day to stay at your weight. Then don't consume any more than that and you shouldn't gain anything.
i don't think water will do it alone, but it helps...maybe your metabolism is just slow so you better watch what you eat, avoid fastfoods and better if you exercise (this will boost your metabolism)...and eat in small amounts...don't eat like it's your last day in this world..LOL
water is great, it will flsuh out impurities and will make you ahve less of an appetite. soda and stuff is loaded with sugars/calories, and without that, you will see a big wieght loss.
You should drink 8 8oz glasses of water a day. Then add 8oz for every 25lbs that you need to lose. Water is GREAT for you. You should still think about eating healthy as well. GOOD LUCK!
drinking water is a very good way to lose weight, especially is you switch from pop to water. drinking 1 can less of soda a day for a week can help you lose about 5 pounds
yes it should help with loosing weight, because the more you drink the less you eat, and water is calorie free and sugar free, unlike soda and everything else.good luck but be careful and eat what you need for your healthyou can not drink to much water you will not drown yourself unless you fill up your lungs, not your stomach.
The theory is water will cause you to lose weight. Though there are problems with excessive water. You tend to over flush your body. causes issues if you do not have a nutrient rich diet.Losing weight is really easy.. its a balance of exercise and food. drop one and/or increase the other to get results.you can eat the same but exercise more to lose weight.
Or
eat less with the same activity.
Or
eat less and exercise moreAll these fad diets are just cheap ways to cheat actually putting effort into losing weight. Also the body learns what you do, and keeps improving its performance. So if you get in a routine, your body will eventually adjust to it and you will still gain weight.
If you eat exactly the same diet, no amount of water will cause you to lose weight. Water is only helpful in that it tends to fill you up, so you might eat less or drink other calorie-containing liquids less (resulting in fewer total calories consumed).Be aware that excessive water intake (medical term is polydipsia, resulting in water intoxication) can be fatally dangerous. In short, it can cause your brain to swell due to rapid changes in the sodium concentration.Trust me, I'm a doctor.
u can use detox diets to loose weight .People who follow it are seemingly more healthy and live longer lives.detox diets will help u to a great extent to reduce weight and be slim.for one week put yourself on a monotrophic diet , i.e. eat only one type of fruit at each meal. For example: BREAKFAST could be melon only. Eat as much as you like and feel satisfied that you have had enough. All types of melons are good. Honeydew, Cantaloupe, Gala or Watermelon.LUNCHTIME: Eat only oranges and grapefruit or pineapples or plums whatever you fancy but don't mix the fruits. Eat till hunger is satisfied.4 p.m. Have a large (12 oz.) glass of freshly pressed carrot juice.EVENING: Eat only apples, pears, grapes or bananas. Eat only one fruit at a time and eat till hunger is satisfied. source:http://www.detoxmedifastdiets.blogspot.c...

Can walking, treadmills and elliptical trainers help burn belly fat?

Which one is more effective?
30min-1hr of any at medium-high intensity
If not what are some other good exercises that can help with the belly pouch? How long will it take to come off?
Answer:
Elliptical is usually best as it works both your upper and lower body. Its also not hard impact on your body, so it will save your joints better than a treadmill will. As for how long to take it off... depends on each individual body. Its best to exercise 2 hours after a meal. Start out with low intensity, then make it longer and harder as you go along.
Yes, and it is good for your heart. I want one of them.
i would rotate the machines everyday. if you have time, do an hour, if not then do 30 minutes. doing sit ups every night will help tone the belly area also. good luck, i am working on the same battle.
You shouldn't rush yourself into losing weight really quickly because easy come easy go. Walking is the best thing for you because it works all the important areas in your body and it helps the most because it doesn't build up any muscle but instead it just burns the fat. So, definitely walking!!an hour a day for 5 days a week is an optimum amount of time but make sure not to over work yourself because you're trying to burn the fat not replace it by muscle. Abs exercises will do wonders for your belly so will swimming, walking, cycling...any sort of sport will help with the "belly pouch". Well, how long did it take for you to get the belly pouch? Is it such a horrifying idea if you lose it slowly? Give it about 2 to 3 months and it should decrease in size significantlyAgain, don't stress yourself about this...being healthy is a lifestyle process and not a destination!
No but it will burn calories! You need machines that will give your tummy an exercise like doing pull-ups. Those are good! Plus you don't need a machine to do pull-ups!
I think your best bet to targeting belly fat is to go swimming. Head down to the local YMCA or any other lap pool, and start swimming. Thats how I managed to cut my waist down rather quickly.
