I'm not sure there is a BEST fruit...I would look more into eating a wide variety of fruits (AND vegetables). I took a nutrition class my first semester in college and the teacher told us a little about how celery can actually help to lower blood pressure.All fruits in moderation can help to promote weight loss (better to eat fruit than cookies...)...but keep in mind that fruit still has a lot of sugar, so have some veggies too...combats cancer? hmm..well they say that berries are high in antioxidants (which help fight off the free radicals that create tumors and such..). but then again all fruits/plant foods contain some of these .I know its hard to add a wide variety of fruits and veggies into the day but...sometimes what I do is this.
I put some milk into a blender with frozen yogurt (not frozen yogurt like that you'd buy, but i litterally put a little container of vanilla yogurt in the freezer...i like the taste much better than frozen yogurt)... and then i add different fruits...Strawberries, rasberries, blueberries. its a nice little breakfast smoothie...Or sometimes i do it with just milk, ice cubes, a bananna, and a small drop of vanilla flavor (to sweeten it)...Or you could do something like Orange juice, pineapple juice, and banannas . For lunch or dinner you could make a BIG salad with either all your favorite kinds of fruits...(At the beginning of the week, sometimes I chop up fruit and put it into a bowl so that I have fruit salad ready whenever I want it)... OR you could make a big regular salad (with lettus) and just add all your favorite veggies (cucumber, tomatoe, chopped peppers, red onion, bits of celery..those are my favorite.add some baby spinach for extra nutritional value..). Eating a wide variety of fruits and veggies will help to guarentee that you're getting all of the vitamins/minerals that your body needs to function... make sure you're also drinking a lot of water and taking a multi vitamin each day to make up for parts of your diet that might be lacking..
