Okay, I'm sorry, but you're not going to lose 30-40 pounds in 3 months, not without self-injury. Here's my advice: forget diets. Diets don't KEEP the weight off. If you're serious about losing weight you have to change your habits, and that means nothing radical. What you want is to make minor changes, but these will be permanent changes. For example, don't say "no more sweets" because that's not a realistic goal for most people. Instead, put practical limits on sweets and calories. Start a regular exercise program and then stick with it, and that means making sure that you're doing an exercise program that you're going to be able to keep doing for a long time to come. Losing weight responsibly means changing your lifestyle.
You have to drink water to lose weight, it's a necessity, something about extra oxygen. Also, do a lot of deep breathing...again, oxygen burns fat. And go to the drugstore and pick up a bottle DHEA supplements, it'll help keep your metabolism up. And stay the hell away from stackers or any other crap that wrestlers or former bimbo playboy models tell you to take to look good!
If you are having trouble losing weight? A few holiday pounds that just won't melt away? Don't try the cabbage soup or the Atkins diet! Those 'fad' diets simply don't work. Instead, try some great weight-loss techniques and guides, jam-packed with tips and methods to finally shed those excess pounds. I came across an article you may want to learn from there as well check the Source below
Don't care what other suggest you have to exercise. I know that this is not what you want to hear. Every diet that is recommended they always tell you to include exercise. Exercise more than you eat.You could also try cutting down on the amount you eat. Just a little 5 times a day.
eating less, sporting more...good man
i am proud to tell you this from my experience.i was almost always concerned about my weight, and keep on doing crash diets which i couldn't actually stick onto,i did regular exercises as well, but because of how much i eat,i was never able to lose a considerable amount of weight.so what i did is, i got used to the habit of sticking to gradual weight loss method. i eat few,and less carbohydrates.i use to eat lots of bread and rice,so instead i eat brown rice and also less in amount, more fresh salads,i kept in my mind to eat regular meals and no snacks.when it is meal time i just make a simple tuna salad or boil some baby corns and eat,i do not stay lingering near the kitchen table or fridge for long.my advice is if you do a crash diet and lose it you are more likely to gain it faster than u lost it.gradual process will work better.
I know a girl who was severely overweight and I hadn't seen her in awhile. I almost didn't recognize her she was so thin. I asked her what kind of diet she used. She said she didn't diet. She ate her meals on saucers and didn't go back for seconds.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)
