Can i go walking with 3lbs dumbells on both my hands? pls tell me the pros and cons. thanks.?

i need to lose weight and i want to intensify my walk everyday by using dumbells while i walk.
Answer:
Get wrist and ankle weights instead, most sporting good stores have them and you can wear them whenever and still get a good workout and have your hands free as well.

Yes, but I would recommend you use the type which can be wrapped around your wrists or even better- your ankles. You would find it strains your hands to have to hold dumbells.
That's too heavy. It will seem light at first, but after 10 minutes, those light dumbbells will weigh a ton.Invest in a weight vest instead.
It's ok until your knuckles start dragging the ground.
