Can i replace salt with pepper in my diet?

my doctor recommended me to reduce my salt intake for this 1 medication i'm taking...so my question is.on fries, can i replace the salt for pepper? does pepper have salt in it?
Answer:
Sure you can replace salt for pepper. Pepper does not have salt on it. But be very carefull, and do not stop getting salt on your food because the tyroid gland, which produces two of the most important hormones in your body required iodine. In the US there is a deficiency of iodine, thus salt is iodized.
Pepper is a spice, while salt is a mineral. You can definitely use pepper on your fires instead, but do not cut salt out of your diet COMPLETELY.This can cause you to feel very nauseous, dizzy, and shaky.
pepper does not have salt in it. If it did, it would be called "salt and pepper", not just pepper. If you cut salt out completely you'll be fine- you get enough sodium incidentally through things you eat and drink.
