about 2 years ago when I was 14 I could do 70 pushups in 2 minutes. Now I can only do 50. What is up? I only lift weights every other day. If I quit will I be able to get my pushups back if I just do pushups? Please I need help I am training for the Navy Seals.

Every other day is best. After you strain muscle, you should give it time to rest and recover.

No, they do the opposite.
A couple of possibilities:
1. You are probably larger and have to move further to do each push-up.
2. You are probably doing better and longer push-ups. Don't obsess.
if your doing pushups after youlift you won't be able to do as much as you think, your muscles are tired already if your doing them on your day off your muscles are recuperating try not lifting for a week and see what happens
no they make u stronger look at the wrestlers they do push ups and lift weight a lot and they look like a monster with those muscles
